About Me

Bibiana Carvalho is a multilingual mental health professional (English, Portuguese and Spanish). specializing in trauma treatment. I am certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 1995 from PUC University in Goiânia, Brazil, and later completed my Master’s degree at Brenau University in 2014.

I have extensive experience working with diverse populations, including Brazilian, Spanish-speaking, and American clients. Throughout my career, I have worked for many years in community-based organizations, where I developed a strong commitment to culturally responsive, compassionate, and evidence-based care. My professional background allows me to support individuals and families with sensitivity to cultural, social, and emotional needs, especially those impacted by trauma.
